01
Share your vision
Tell us where your project is taking shape, what you hope to achieve and how far your plans have progressed. A new home, a substantial renovation or a complete interior each calls for a different approach. Share your priorities, timing and budget, together with any plans or references that help us understand what matters to you.
02
Find a shared language
A successful collaboration begins with more than a preferred style. It grows from a shared understanding of how you want to live, work and experience a space. Light, proportion, materials and the objects you choose all play a part. We use your brief to understand the atmosphere you are seeking and the qualities you value in a design practice.
03
Explore the right connection
With your project in mind, we consider relevant architects and interior designers within our personal network. We look at their body of work, experience, geographical reach and suitability for the scale of your plans, and explore their availability. Each request is considered individually, and any potential introduction is discussed with you before we connect you with a studio.
04
Begin a direct dialogue
Where there is mutual interest, we make a personal introduction so you and the studio can explore the project together. This first conversation helps establish the approach, scope and practical next steps. The design appointment, programme, professional fees and responsibilities are agreed directly between you and the practice, allowing the collaboration to develop on clear terms.
05
Bring art into the whole
Alongside your chosen architect or interior designer, Kalkeriet can contribute fine art photography, artist-designed rugs, collectible objects, furniture and lighting. We consider each piece in relation to the architecture, your interests and the way a space will be used. Where appropriate, bespoke dimensions, colours and materials can be explored in dialogue with you and your studio.
