La Pepino is a seating collection composed of repeated cylindrical cushions set on an organically shaped base. Fully upholstered, each piece explores varying points of contact between body and form, using repetition and curvature to shape both structure and comfort. Upholstery is adaptable to a range of fabrics.
Alfredo Lopez is a Barcelona-based designer working across furniture and functional objects, primarily in wood. His practice is rooted in making, with each piece developed and produced by hand in his studio and workshop, OWL, in Barcelona. The space operates as both a site of production and experimentation, where design decisions emerge through material engagement, construction, and process. Lopez’s work reflects a close attention to proportion, structure, and the inherent qualities of the materials he employs, resulting in objects defined by clarity, restraint, and an economy of means.
