Kalkeriet Contemporary is pleased to present the Trench chair by Philippe Malouin for Acerbis. British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin studied at Design Academy Eindhoven, École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris, and the University of Montreal.He established his London-based studio in 2008 and has since developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning furniture, lighting, rugs, objects, and installations.
His clients include Flos, HEM, Iittala, De Sede, SCP, Established & Sons, Ishinomaki, and Marsotto Edizioni. Alongside his commercial work, Malouin maintains an artistic practice represented by Salon 94 Design in New York and The Breeder in Athens. His work has received international recognition, including Wallpaper* magazine’s Designer of the Year award, and he has served as President of the Jury for Villa Noailles’ Design Parade.
Malouin lives and works in London.
