Here, Pierson re-appropriated pieces from his abstract sculpture series, based on ABSTRACT #12 (2008) featuring a freeform design with a surface treatment that replicates a worn vintage feel though variable material compositions of wool and silk. Jack Pierson has had solo and group shows at major institutions such as Aspen Art Museum, MCA Chicago, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), MoMA PS1, New Museum New York, ICA London, Hammer Museum Los Angeles, The Bass Museum of Art in Miami and collected by major institutions such as MCA Chicago and Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) New York.
