Kalkeriet Contemporary is pleased to present the iconic Gufram produced Cactus sculpture designed by Guido Drocco & Franco Mello. Originally designed as a hall rack, launched in 1972, the soft and thornless design, is capable of renegotiating the very idea of utility and dissolving the boundaries between contemporary art and design. Wherever it is placed, it takes centre stage and acts as an eye-catcher. The object is today featured in the permanent collection of museums across the globe.
