It distills the table to its purest form: two columns and a surface. The legs extend the line of the tabletop, with both elements sharing the same width—giving each equal weight in the composition. The distance between the legs is adjustable, enhancing the piece’s sculptural presence and sense of quiet balance. Architect, designer, sculptor, Dutch artist and designer Aldo Bakker (b. 1971) creates work defined by a rare sense of harmony, where form communicates through color, texture, material, and association. His pieces are sculptural, timeless, and meticulously balanced—often unexpected, yet instantly familiar. Widely published and exhibited, Bakker continues to collaborate with renowned manufacturers while expanding his personal collection in close partnership with master artisans and galleries worldwide.
