Court's diverse design repertoire is keenly focused on purity of form and a high regard for noble materials, traditional artisanal and hand-crafted techniques. Each design focuses on an essential statement of line, the resonance of natural materials and the desire to gracefully hold space via a taut and articulate silhouette. The resulting works arrive at a provocative junction of contemporary design and the manifestation of a distinctly personal expression. OKHA explores the subtle, grey areas of finely balancing asymmetry and symmetry. The design studio is based in Cape Town and the manufacturing in Portugal.
