Kalkeriet Contemporary is thrilled to showcase the Ala chair, a creation by Sebastian Herkner for LaCividina. Born in 1981, Herkner pursued product design at Offenbach University of Art and Design, specializing in objects and furnishings. During his studies, he collaborated with fashion designer Stella McCartney in London, refining his sensitivity for materials, colors, structures, and textures. In addition to running his own company, Herkner also serves as a lecturer at Offenbach University of Art and Design, earning numerous accolades, including the Newcomer award at the 2011 German Design Awards.
