Kalkeriet Contemporary is pleased to present Stacking, a floor lamp designed by Rockwell Group for Leucos. The Stacking Collection blends advanced technology with traditional glassmaking craftsmanship. It features three floor lamp sets alongside a series of horizontal and vertical pendant lights. The floor version, introduced in 2007, pays tribute to the rich Venetian glassmaking tradition through the use of the incamiciato technique—Italian for “jacketed” or “layered.” This intricate process involves expert glassblowers layering multiple types of glass during blowing to achieve varying colors and opacities. When the cylindrical modules overlap, they create a refined interplay of color and light, casting a sophisticated and atmospheric glow.
