This piece explores the interplay of light and shadow, with the effect intensifying as the light source remains hidden. The Eclipse 1 lamp beautifully translates the enigmatic allure of a solar eclipse into ambient lighting, using elegantly crafted porcelain circles to create a soft, diffused glow. The result is a mesmerizing lighting fixture that adds a touch of mystery and sophistication to any space.

This indoor pendant lamp is made of steel and porcelain with an E27 fitting type and includes a replaceable 5-watt bulb. It features a 3-meter cable, operates on a maximum voltage of 240 volts, and is height-adjustable. Please note that it is not dimmable, does not include a switch, and comes with installation instructions.

Ann Demeulemeester founded her eponymous fashion label with creative partner Patrick Robyn in 1985, quickly becoming a key figure in redefining global fashion. After stepping down from her label in 2014, she began exploring new creative avenues, including sculpture and ceramics. Since 2019, Demeulemeester has collaborated with Serax to produce collections of porcelain, cutlery, and glassware, followed by a range of lighting and luminous objects. In September 2022, they expanded into furniture, releasing a collection of stools, chairs, tables, consoles, and sofas in various materials. Demeulemeester is renowned for her intelligent approach to design, transcending trends to create a continually evolving, deeply personal, and contextually relevant world. Her work explores the beauty of contrasts—strength and fragility, structure and nonchalance, poetic and radical, preciousness and functionality.
