Trabucco's contributions to the field have been recognized through his long-standing involvement with the ADI (Industrial Design Association), Confindustria, and the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, where he serves as a permanent member of the Design Jury. In addition to his practical work, Trabucco is a prolific author, contributing numerous publications, books, and scientific articles to the field of design.
Currently, Francesco Trabucco holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic Institute, where he coordinates the PhD in Design Research and has directed the Master's programs in Design Engineering & Innovation and Design for Architecture. His academic and professional achievements underscore his enduring impact on the evolution of design both in Italy and globally.
