Kalkeriet Contemporary is pleased to present Arenaria by artist and designer Verter Turroni. Lounge chair, bench, coffee table or sculptural element. Four interpretations for a creation that recalls a rock, its solidity and its magnificence. A versatile element in which art and nature merge and become an archetype and furniture, giving any professional or personal space a bold identity, a tactile soul and a timeless dimension. Limited, certified and numbered edition. Turroni's artistic workshop Imperfetto Lab is located in Gambettola, Emilia Romanga, Italy. The studio was founded in 1992, by Turroni and his wife Emanuela Ravelli. Each exclusive piece is made from a common mould, which is then sanded, painted, and hand-polished. The working process differs for each type of object, thus becoming unique in its genre. Their pieces is mainly manufactured in fiberglass, a highly versatile lightweight material that is resistant to any weather conditions, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Available in a wide range of formulations, fiberglass couples the formability of plastic with the strength of glass. Pound–for–pound, fiberglass is even stronger than steel or aluminum. Imperfetto Lab combines exceptional attention to detail with first-class craftsmanship, making each design a work-of-art. Their own gallery promotes a wide range of art research projects, and organizes exhibitions and performances. Since 2001, it has been a place where artists can experiment with and validate their work.
